Vintage Rocking Chair in Cambridge, MA

If we called Central Casting, and asked for an old, used, worn, but comfortable and sturdy Rocking Chair, no doubt they would send this one;
This looks to be a Vintage Boston (or Federal) Style Rocker, likely Mahogany wood.
The head, dowls and seat all have decorative painting on it, and, combined with the style, this, likely, comes out of the 1930's or 1940's.
This was in the family and is very, very comfortable to sit it.
This would make a great piece for someone into the style, as is, or as a good candidate to be cleaned and restored to its' original handsomeness.
Or, for someone that just wants a great old Rocking Chair.
Taking all this into consideration, I believe I have a fair price on it
