Vintage 1930's Art Deco Decanter Set in Cambridge, MA

"Paging Nick and Nora Charles ... Nick and Nora Charles, please ..."
Here's a real gem, recently dug out of a closet (my late Aunt was a prolific collector),
Vintage 1930's Art Deco Decanter Set
This could, easily, come from either decade sitting aside the 30's, but it reeks of the 1930's.
It is Accordion-style, with the top opening and folding up, and the two sides swinging out.
It's not perfect.
There are wear spots, some of the filigree is roughed up, the key is missing, one decanter is missing, and, since there is space for 12 shot glasses, six are missing.
That said, it is still a spectacular item, the glass of the decanters is awesome, the design and filigree on the box very cool.looking.
It just screams "Old School", giving you the urge to slip into silk pajamas, shake a jig of cocktails and settle down on a big, cushy divan listening to the radio, perhaps the latest installment of 'The Shadow' or, the aforementioned 'Thin Man' series.
This would make a great gift to that collector of, or keeper of, Vintage Barware.
